Who are the stakeholders of Everyday Pros?
AEveryday Pros is a home services provider that stands out for its ease of use and the quality of service it provides. We use our own professionals to do the job.
We meet and carefully select all professional partners before they are involved with our clients because they represent Everyday Pros and are essential for the full satisfaction of our customers.
To be accepted as a professional partner, every professional or business must provide (non exhaustive list):

  • Company profile (Government Registration)
  • Clearance Certificate from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
  • Insurance documentation
  • References: A list of 3 clients.

Our acceptance rate of our professional partners in relation to all applications will for sure be low because we will select only the most reliable ones. And of course Everyday Pros only work with licensed professionals where the Trades require it.  Any plumbers or electricians that will come to you are certified, licensed and have of all the above as well.

We select the best but we also make sure they share our our vision of quality service and customer satisfaction.

Once the business partners are accepted, they are constantly assessed by you and by Everyday Pros so as to keep quality of service (those that do not meet our standards no longer have access to Everyday Pros).

What guarantees do you offer?
ACustomer satisfaction is our No.1 goal and we strive to achieve this goal. Even if we select personally all contractors and despite all efforts, surprises may happen.

To avoid this, we have implemented two measures:

  1. We have contracted professional liability insurance that guarantees all jobs performed by our professionals. In case of problems, no worries, you will be covered.
  2. We offer you a guarantee “Satisfied or We Redo it” if you are not fully satisfied with the work done. We will make the necessary arrangements to fix the problem by sending another person at our expense.

What are the areas and eligible postal codes to your services?
AAs we just launched, we are only servicing the Ottawa Area. Very soon, we will be servicing Toronto, and more cities in Ontario and other provinces. But keep in mind, that quality and service are the top priorities so the selection process might be a bit longer.

Can we choose the service provider that will come?
AThe professional who will come to your place is selected based on several parameters: the location the work, the type of work, the schedule of the professional, etc. If, however you have someone in mind, please mention it in the Comment Box and we will do our best to make it happen.

What if I can not find the right service on your site?
AEveryday Pros currently offers close to 100 services and more will come. However, if you do not find exactly what you need or if you are not sure, contact us using the Contact Form or by phone at (613)518-2910.

Do you offer discounts for large orders?
AIf you have a special request such as a big job or if you need several services at the same time, please Contact us, we will do our best to provide you the perfect solution.

How are the services prices calculated?
APrices were calculated through extensive field research conducted in the last year. During this study, we spoke to many professionals and consumers to be sure that our prices are within market prices. Also, do not forget that quality is our priority and the best contractors like the ones we partnered with are in big demand.

Our rates might fluctuate to follow the market and also will vary by region as each has its own specificity.

Finally, keep in mind that the work that needs to be done might not be possible with the price established due to complications (unforeseen reasons). This is why, the Contractor may have to adjust pricing, cancel and/or reschedule to be able to do the best job.

Can I order a service over the phone?
AIt is always better to order online but of course you can call us anytime between 9:00am & 5:00pm from Monday to Friday at (613)518-2910. Together we will define your project and we will book a service. Also, keep in mind that we are a lot on the field to work with clients like you so do not hesitate to leave us a message if we don’t answer. We will call you back the same within 24 hours.

How to cancel a service?
AYou can cancel a service without penalty 24 hours before the scheduled start of the ordered service using the form available in your account (“My Account”) or by using the Contact Form. Your payment will be refunded fully within 14 days after the cancellation.

Within 24 hours, you might be liable for a cancellation fee of $50 which will be deducted from the refund. Indeed, cancellations and last-minute changes prevent us from rearranging the schedules which is lost business for our partner and lost opportunities for other clients.

How to modify a service?
AYou want to change the type or the date of the service ordered? It’s very simple, you just need to contact us and mention what you would like to change.

In any cases, it is very important to inform us as early as possible and no later than 24 hours before the start of the intervention so that we can get things organized. Beyond this period, we will consider it a cancellation.

ADepending on the service ordered, we will make the necessary modifications with prior approval from you. Please, notify us up to 24 hours in advance so that we can make those necessary changes on our side.

What should I do if I’m late?
AA service is scheduled and you will not be at the location of the work to be done on time?

We understand that we can not foresee everything, especially the unexpected! One thing we need to ask you: let us know as soon as possible by phone at (613)518-2910. You can also send us a message using the contact form.

We will do our best to find a solution but it in the contrary, we might have to to reschedule the service. Should you forget to inform us, we will have to treat this as a last minute cancellation.

What should I do if the professional is late or not coming?
AYou booked a service and our service provider hasn’t showed up yet? The first thing to do is to inform us by phone at (613)518-2910. We will contact the service provider right away and we will update you.

Either you accept that service with some delays or we will reschedule, eventually with a new business partner.

  1. Our professional comes to your location as planned. Show him and explain your need to make sure everything is clear (s/he would have received your submitted instructions from us).
  2. You just have to let him work and you may enjoy a tea or a coffee.
